Dr. Pomerantz was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He received his BS degree from the University of Rhode Island and in 1993 received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark. While in New Jersey he practiced in a prestigious central New Jersey restorative practice. He was honored in 1993 by being inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Honor Society which boasts its membership on practitioners that have shown to excel in prosthetic dentistry (dentures, crowns and bridges). While practicing in New Jersey Dr. Pomerantz was appointed to the position of adjunct professor at Middlesex College. Over the years Dr. Pomerantz has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education and has invested a lot of time and effort toward the ART of dentistry. South Florida Laser Dentistry was established in 1997 when the Pomerantz Family (his wife and two young daughters) moved to South Florida. His initial dream and goal for South Florida Laser Dentistry was to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. His techniques and state of the art equipment are in place to make his patients visits shorter, less stressful and more efficient.

 

Amy was approached by Dr. Pomerantz when she worked in administration for the Broward school system. She is known for her diligence and ability to multitask. She is meticulous when it comes to running our schedule and making sure everyone is happy. Amy’s direction is to accommodate our patients with no exceptions. When not in the office, Amy is a member of the World Team Tennis organization where they recently won first place in a 2006 California tournament. Between basketball and tennis Amy can fill the office with trophies. When not being competitive, her two sons are the light of her life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After taking years off to raise her children Kelly Ann has come back into the dental field. Her smile and willingness to help in all situations makes your visit warm and comforting. Her gentle touch makes the treatment easy. Michelle, a New Jersey native relocated to Florida at the age of 8. Having an interest in dentistry at a young age she knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. This is very apparent in the quality and dedication of her work. When outside the office Michelle enjoys many sports but most of her time is spent with her husband and caring for their young daughter. Gayle comes from a long line of dental providers within her family. With years of experience as a dental hygienist, she understands the needs of our patients. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. Horseback riding in the open pastures is her other passion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kelly is a great asset to our office.Born and raised in Michigan. Kelly doesn’t miss the cold.
