Pediatric dentistry is aimed at the prevention and treatment of dental and orofacial problems in children, from birth to adolescence. We consider the evolutionary psychology of the child to help him not to be afraid of the dentist and to make his experience pleasant. Treatments are aimed at preventing dental caries with fluoride sealants and detecting possible anomalies in the position of the jaws or teeth to refer to the orthodontist.
